Один из наших малт-маньяков, Кришна Нукала(Индия), занялся составлением
анаграмм из наших, маньяческих, имен и из названий виски.
Казалось бы, какая уж там анаграмма из моего имени, но Кришна отличился:
Roman == "A Mr. No"
Of late I have been captivated into the wonderful world of Anagrams and the deeper I dwelled into it, my reasoning and thoughts were going astray like tentacles of some giant unknown monster hungrily searching for a prey. With much difficulty after reining my thoughts I decided to spend some time on our favorite topic - Single Malt Whisky and the world of Anagrams. So, let me take you all for a short tour of my latest discovery.
First of all, the credit must go to our protagonists who named this elixir "Single Malt Whisky". I do not know whether the pundits have arrived at this name knowingly or unknowingly because after enjoying this stuff any fan would feel like this:
"A lengthy silk swim" or feeling like "A smelling with sky"
There is one more difficult one, but if one consults a lexicon it would turn out to be more meaningful.
" Wineglass Myth ilk"
Personally I liked the second one as it closely relates to the malt maniacs' feelings. Am I right?
Let us go a few steps further and relate the Anagrammatism to the Maniacs with their favorite malts.
Let me begin with Crag Daniels, our Guru because "Craig leads in" all tasting sessions.
Craig Daniels or "Cigar Daniels"? (Do you smoke Craig?) Or "Radical Singe"?
Craig likes so many Islay whiskies?
Laphroig - "A girl hop" or a Caol Ila - "A local I"?
And the great Lagavulin - An "Avian Gull" or Lagavulin firing from a " A Villa Gun"
Whose favorite is Highland Park"? Or "Parkland High"
Is it Klaus Everding? - Behind whom an "Aged vine lurks".
Klaus, after a drink of the good Talisker - does the "Air talk"? Or after too many Bowmore you want to "Bow more"? Or after an Ardbeg you "Barged" into some one else's bed room?
Roman - " A Mr. No" going for a Glenmorangie - " A mere longing" tasting like " A ginger lemon"
Or tasting Mortlach from the " March lot" or a Tamdhu in a " Mad hut"
Here is Louis Perlman - having the "Same iron pull" towards his favorite St. Magdalene - "A damsel gent" or is it an " Eastland Gem"?
Do you like Glen Turret? - No, I don't think so; it feels like "Gentler Rut"
Or a Glen Garioch"? Horrifying like "A lichen grog"
Where is Patrick? - Going for his "Tripack" of Dalwhinnie - "A wild hen in" and getting "laid when in" a barn.
(Excuse me Patrick; I can't help it, that's how the anagram comes out for a Dalwhinnie)
But have a Tomatin after that because it is like " a mint to" taste.
Serge, where are you? The French should not lag behind.
Serge Valentin is a " Silent Avenger" and when "A nerve tingles" after a Balvenie, the
"Able Vine" he goes into a " Regal vine nest".
(Serge, I have found three anagrams for your name)
Are you going for the Aberlour - The "labourer"? Or for a Strathisla from "A Trash list".
And after all the adventures, Serge, I recommend a Macallan for the good nights
"Anal Calm."
That's all friends, I am exhausted and I hope you have enjoyed it.
