The Finnish authorities and press, as always, want all Finns
to belong to the rest of the world. These days that means
that you're nothing unless you can claim you have a terror
attack of your own in your backyard.
It's the same sort of phenomenom that happens in Finland every
time something major happens anywhere else in the world.
For some reason it is customary for some official authority
to comment on every major event abroad in relation to Finland.
For instance WTC attacks prompted several morons at the Finnish
Government and other famous idiots to comment what Finland should
do to prevent similar attacks by terrorist in Finland. The #2
news in Finland about the bomb blast was that the news about it
was widely reported abroad ("look everybody, we're famous now!
Yippee!"). Typical.
The bomb was detonated by a 19-year-old Finnish student
apparently suffering from some sort of mental problems. Nothing
whatsoever to do with any terrorism. Just your regular garden variety
nutcase who should've just killed himself instead of taking 6 people
with him.
Too bad he killed himself, it would've been extremely satisfying
to mutilate him after the 20 - 25 year sentence he would've gotten.
